Hasto mengatakan: “Kami berharap tentu saja selama proses penetapan calon presiden dan wakil presiden kerja sama antara Pak Jokowi dan Pak JK dapat dilanjutkan,” katanya di Prime Plaza Hotel, Sanur, Bali, Jumat (23/2/2018) malam, sebagaimana dilansir Kompas.com.
Menurut Hasto, komunikasi antara Ketua Umum PDIP Megawati dengan JK telah berlangsung sejak lama. Malah, Hasto pernah diutus Megawati untuk menanyakan kepada JK siapa yang akan mendampingi Jokowi pada periode berikutnya. “Tentu kami akan dengar masukan dari Bapak Jusuf Kalla karena beliau tentu sangat memahami berbagai persoalan bangsa dan negara,” katanya.
Posisi JK memang penting. Dirinya tak mungkin disandingkan lagi dengan Jokowi sebab terganjal pasal dalam UUD 1945 yang menyatakan bahwa jabatan presiden dan wakil presiden hanya bisa dua periode, JK sebelumnya telah menjadi wakil presiden pada masa pemerintahan Presiden Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY).
“Kita terikat pada ketentuan UUD 1945. Masa jabatan hanya 2 periode tapi yang kami maksud Pak JK sebagai tokoh bangsa, wapres dua periode tentu punya pandangan yang baik. Pandangan siapa yang tepat mendampingi Pak Jokowi,” katanya.
Hubungan Jokowi dan JK adalah hubungan pasang surut. Pada mulanya, keduanya berkomitmen untuk sama-sama mengawal agenda kebangsaan. Seiring waktu, Jokowi terkesan mengecilkan peran-peran JK. Boleh jadi, Jokowi tidak ingin JK mendapat peran sebagaimana masa SBY, yang kemudian membuat JK dijuluki budayawan Ahmad Syafii Maarif sebagai “the real president.”
Jokowi memberi ruang yang lebih besar kepada Luhut Panjaitan untuk menjalankan peran-peran yang dahulu dijalankan JK. Di awal-awal pemerintahan, posisi JK memang serba terbatas. Beliau tidak punya partai politik yang merupakan modal politik untuk tetap punya posisi tawar.
Harapan JK ada pada partai Golkar yang pernah dipimpinnya. Namun, partai itu sempat mengalami dualisme ketika Aburizal Bakrie dan Agung Laksono sama-sama mengklaim posisi ketua umum. JK yang berada di pihak Agung Laksono dipaksa untuk bertarung dengan kubu Luhut yang berada di belakang Aburizal. Hingga akhirnya, Golkar dipimpin Setya Novanto, yang notabene lebih dekat ke Luhut.
Kartu JK mulai hidup kembali ketika sukses mendorong Anies Baswedan sebagai Gubernur DKI Jakarta, pada saat Jokowi dan timnya jor-joran mendukung Ahok. JK orang pertama yang merekomendasikan Anies ke Prabowo. Tak hanya itu, kelompok usahanya, serta Bosowa Grup, yang dimiliki iparnya Aksa Mahmud, juga habis-habisan memenangkan Anies. Kartu JK semakin hidup saat Airlangga Hartarto, figur yang selama ini dekat dengannya, memegang posisi Ketua Umum Partai Golkar.
Jokowi tak bisa lagi memandang JK sebelah mata. Secara politik, dia memiliki posisi tawar yang cukup strategis. JK adalah figur yang diterima kelompok Muslim, serta kelompok nasionalis. Dia dekat dengan semua jejaring cendekiawan dan saudagar Muslim, juga bisa diterima kelompok Prabowo, Surya Paloh, Wiranto, dan juga semua politisi berhaluan Islam.
Beberapa kalangan dekat JK menuturkan beberapa kali Jokowi mendekati JK secara personal demi membicarakan posisi wakil presiden. JK tidak secara eksplisit menyebutkan siapa yang hendak didukungnya, sebab dirinya juga tengah menimbang situasi. JK dalam dilema antara kembali mendukung Jokowi atau bisa saja mengajukan calon lain yang dianggap representasi dari umat Muslim.
Tak hanya itu, sejak pekan silam telah beredar meme dan kampanye JK-Anies. Meskipun sudah dikonfirmasi kalau itu adalah hoax, akan tetapi pesan itu cukup heboh di kalangan pendukung Jokowi. Jika JK mengalihkan dukungan ke kubu sebelah, maka arena yang akan dimasuki Jokowi akan lebih berat.
Kehilangan JK adalah kehilangan banyak pilar penting yang menopang pergerakannya. Sukar baginya untuk menemukan figur seperti JK yang diterima semua kalangan, serta punya lobi kuat dengan kalangan pengusaha.
Makanya, pilihan paling aman bagi kubu Jokowi adalah mengunci JK untuk tetap mendukungnya. Namun, apakah JK bersedia untuk tetap bersama Jokowi mengingat pada masa awal pemerintahan, peran-perannya justru diciutkan sehingga periode ini dia justru kelihatan tertatih-tatih karena tidak mendapat ruang gerak yang memadai?
